Listings with 8+ high-quality photos receive up to 40% more bookings than listings with fewer or lower-quality photos. You don't need a professional photographer — here's how to do it yourself:
A modern smartphone shoots photos good enough for a great listing. Clean your lens first — many blurry photos come from a dirty lens.
Shoot during the day with natural light. Open all curtains and blinds. Turn on all room lights. Avoid shooting directly into windows — the room will look dark.
Remove personal items, cables, and clutter. Fresh towels, fluffed pillows, and a made bed make a huge difference.
Seekers want to see the bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, living area, outdoor spaces, and the building exterior. Don't leave anything out — mystery creates hesitation.
Standing in the corner of a room with your camera at chest height makes the space look larger. Avoid shooting from the doorway — it makes rooms look small.
Lead with your best photo (usually the bedroom or the most impressive space). The first photo is what shows in search results.
